How To Order Samples or Personal Orders

This post will be a step by step guide on how to order items for yourself, influencers, friends and more. All products that are ordered should have artwork already added to the Google Drive for your brand and have the 5 steps done that are standard for every product.

Step 1: Go to the "Orders" section of your Shopify which is located on the left side. Once there click "Create Order" which is the green button in the top right corner.

Step 2: Click the "Browse" button and choose the product(s) you want to order.

Step 3: In the Payment section click "Add Discount"

Step 4: Where it says "Discount Type" click on where it says "Amount" and change it to "Percentage." The Discount Value should be 100% since we don't want to pay for this order. After you have input the above info click "Done."

Step 5: The top right section will say "Customer." This is where we let Shopify know who the order is going to. You will need to add the customers (or your) information into this form.

Step 6: At this point we have the products we want selected, we've given ourselves a 100% discount on the order and have let Shopify know who the order will be going to. The final step is to click "Collect Payment" and click "Mark as paid."

Step 7: You'll then get a pop up that wants us to confirm this is a free order. Since it is we will then click "Create Order."

After this, the order will show up now in the "Orders" section along with the rest of your orders. If the order does not appear here then something was done incorrectly. the most common error is sometimes the order will be marked as a Draft Order so check there first before making a new order for yourself.

Although you have given yourself a 100% discount this does not mean you do not have to pay for the items through T-shirt Storm. It simply means you do not have to pay Shopify (and yourself) this amount for the order. When the Order is placed and shipped out is when we will send you an Invoice via email for the items. The cost for most items can be found on our "Pricing" page located at the top of this page.
